Make Me Hot - January 2006
Dear Readers:
I am very proud of Make Me Hot as it revolves around a woman, Morgan Bayley, who has always had issues with her distinctive looks, mainly, an unusually large nose. I wanted to know what it would be like for a woman, who'd suffered most of her life because of her looks, to decide to undergo an extreme makeover. And then what? What would happen to her life as she knew it? Would the nip-tuck indeed be the quick fix she'd hoped for, or would her new looks bring about a new set of problems?
In celebration of this hot new release, I've scheduled a Make Me Hot Makeover Contest in Atlanta, GA:

At this makeover event, we will award a lucky winner a Make Me Hot makeover package which includes a 1-year gym membership, gift certificates from New York & Co., a gift pack from MAC cosmetics, hair services from Fantastic Sams, a massage certificate from Spa Sydell, and more.
I'd like to invite readers to nominate someone who they feel would indeed deserve a makeover. If this individual was involved in the recent hurricanes, we'd like to assist those newly relocated Atlanta residents as well, however, the nominees do not need to be hurricane survivors. Simply someone who could use a boost.
If you know of worthy individuals you'd like to nominate, simply send me an email no later than January 7, 2006. I'll need you to write and email a nomination letter to divapublishing@aol.com, telling me why this individual deserves a Make Me Hot Makeover, and please use no more than 300 words. Be sure to include your telephone # and best email address.
If the individual you nominate wins, I will award you (if an individual) or your book club, a gift pack of ten recent (10) Kensington/Dafina titles. The person who nominated the individual, and the nominee, must be present to win. The audience will choose the winner via applause based upon the most touching story/most needy situation.

Details: No more than seven (7) nominees will be chosen, and from those submissions, three (3) finalists will be selected by Marissa Monteilh. Nomination emails must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on January 7, 2006. All submissions will receive a response, either informing the sender that their nomination was selected or informing the sender that the submission was not chosen. Emails must be sent to divapublishing@aol.com. If reply emails sent to those who have been chosen are not returned within 24 hours of the date and time sent, another submission will be chosen as a replacement. All individuals who have nominated and who have been chosen as finalists must be present at the January 14, 2006 event to be eligible to win. You must be a U.S. resident and at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry to participate. All participants release Marissa Monteilh and her agents, associates, publishers, sponsor companies, and B's Books and More against all harm arising in connection with this promotion, including the manner in which final winners are awarded prizes upon their entry in this contest, and redemption of, and/or sponsor services provided in conjunction with this voluntary contest.
